TRIO Academic Support Available to Eligible Finlandia Students
Fully funded by a U.S. Department of Education grant-a total of $286,598 for the 2011-2012 academic year-the (TRIO) Student Support Services program annually provides up to 180 eligible students with academic and personal counseling, tutoring, career assistance, financial literacy education, free photocopying, and a variety of other helpful services. Finlandia students eligible for (TRIO) Student Support Services are first-generation college students (neither parent has completed a four-year degree); and/or have financial need (as determined by an individual's or family's taxable income); or have a documented physical or learning disability; and have academic need.
