Finlandia University Summer 2011 Dean's and Honors StudentsHANCOCK -Finlandia University is pleased to recognize its students who, in the Summer 2011 semester, earned grade point averages above 3.50. Finlandia University faculty and staff congratulate these students on their academic achievements! The semester Dean's List recognizes Finlandia University students who, in the Summer 2011 semester, earned 12 or more credits, a semester GPA of 3.75 or above, and no grade below a "C". The following student is on the Summer 2011 Dean's List (Name, GPA, Hometown): Houghton County, Michigan Christy E. Hendrickson, 3.871, Hubbell, MI The Honors List recognizes Finlandia University students who, in the Summer 2011 semester, earned 12 or more credits, a semester GPA of 3.50-3.749, and no grade below a "C". The following student is on the Summer 2011 Honors List (Name, GPA, Hometown): Oakland County, Michigan Sara E. Mc Cue, 3.673, Birmingham, MI Semester academic honors are not granted to students with an incomplete ("I") grade on their transcript that semester. # # # # Finlandia University, founded in 1896 as Suomi College, is the only private university in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and one of 24 colleges and universities affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
