Author of "We Stopped Forgetting" Will Present Talk and Book Signing Tuesday, July 17
HANCOCK, MI - Author Ellen Marie Jensen will present a lecture on Tuesday, July 17, at 2:00 p.m., at the Finlandia University Finnish American Heritage Center, Hancock. The event is free and open to the public.
Jensen is the author of "We Stopped Forgetting: Stories from Sami Americans," which explores the often-hidden story of Sami ethnicity among Americans, past and present, and the ways in which this heritage can be reclaimed.
Following the talk, Jensen will sign copies of her book at North Wind Books, next door to the Heritage Center.
