Car Wash, Silent Auction, and Guitar Hero Competition is Friday at Family Video

HANCOCK, MI - Finlandia University Upward Bound summer students will hold a car wash and fundraiser Friday, June 18, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., at Family Video on Sharon Avenue in Houghton.

A silent auction will be held inside the store. Auction items include food, merchandise, and services donated by local businesses.

Also, youth under 18 years are invited to participate in a Guitar Hero competition inside the video store. Cash and prizes will be awarded.

The UB summer students are raising funds for a one-week trip to Colorado Springs, Colo., at the conclusion of this year's four-week "mock college experience."
