DIII Indepdendents Recognize Softball Standouts

HANCOCK, MI - The Association of Division III Independents announced the 2009 All-Independent Softball Teams this week.

On the First Team were Finlandia University Lions freshman pitcher Tiffany Coppens (Placentia, Calif.) and senior first baseman Jamie Bellinger (Coleman, Mich.).

On the Second Team were Finlandia University catcher senior Amy Bellinger (Coleman, Mich.) and utility player freshman Shannon Miller (Banks, Ore.).
