Nordic Film Is Thursday, 2 pm and 6 pm
HANCOCK, MI - The Finlandia University Finnish American Heritage Center will show the Finnish film "The Swan and the Wanderer" this Thursday, March 8, at both 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
The film is free and open to the public.
Based on true events, "The Swan and the Wanderer" (Kulkuri ja Joutsen, Finland, 1999) explores the storied friendship of Finnish musicians Tapio Rautavaara and Reino Helismaa.
The film is in the Finnish language with English subtitles. The Finnish American Heritage Center is at 435 Quincy St., downtown Hancock.
