Finlandia's Grandberry Named DIII Independents Player-of-the-Week

HANCOCK, MI - Finlandia University Men's Basketball junior guard Anthony Grandberry (Detroit, Mich.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents men's basketball Player of the Week for the week of December 12-18.

Grandberry led the Lions to a 2-0 record on the week, averaging 21.5 points, 4.5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game. The highlight of his week was a 37-point performance on 14-of-19 (73.7%) shooting from the floor in a 104-87 win over Presentation College. Grandberry shot a blistering 60, 7% for the week.

Additional Finlandia basketball student-athletes named Association of Division III Independents players-of-the-week this season are senior guard/forward Chase Leskala (Bruce Crossing, Mich., November 14-20), and sophomore forward Shaikiera Armstrong (Somerset, N.J., November 21-27).
