Blue Line Club Breakfast Is Sunday, Followed by Men's Hockey Game and "Skate with the Lions"

HANCOCK, MI - The Finlandia University Blue Line Club will host a Pancake and French Toast Breakfast Sunday, October 16, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., in the Dave Wiitanen Room at the Houghton County Arena, Hancock.

After breakfast (or brunch!), join the Lions for an exhibition Men's Hockey game versus Canada's Eliot Lake Bobcats, also at the Houghton County Arena. The puck drops at 2:00 p.m.

The game will be followed by "Skate with the Lions." Community members of all ages are invited to join on the ice Lions mascot Riku F. Lion and the Finlandia Men's and Women's Hockey teams.

The cost of the breakfast is $5.00 per person; children under six years eat free. Tickets are available at the door and in advance from Finlandia Men's and Women's Hockey student-athletes.

Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the Finlandia Men's and Women's Ice Hockey programs.
