Art from the Grieving Heart Writing Contest Discontinued

HANCOCK, MI - The Community Coalition on Grief and Bereavement and Finlandia University have announced that the annual Art from the Grieving Heart writing contest has been discontinued.

"We are pleased with the success of the writing competitions over the past six years, and we hope to offer a similar program in the future," said Barbara Kendall, a member of the Coalition's board of directors.

The Community Coalition on Grief and Bereavement provides grief education, support, and referrals to the people of Houghton, Keweenaw, Baraga, and Ontonagon counties.
